The vast majority of Montreal Canadiens fans are holding their breath right now, as we await (once again) important news about the health of goaltender Carey Price.

Check out what Martin St-Louis had to say on the subject and on Carey Price's absence:

"We're going to go day-to-day and listen to Carey." - Martin St-Louis, who added that Price "couldn't be on the bench yesterday."

Recall that No. 31 was absent yesterday and he will not be with his teammates for the next (and final) trip of the season to New York.

Being re-evaluated on a day-to-day basis, we should have fresh news from Carey, tomorrow. Hopefully it's not too serious...

Will Cayden Primeau's emergency recall be extended? To be continued!

This file remains very nebulous, while, as our colleagues at Marqueur.com illustrate, the speech has changed very quickly.

Before yesterday's game, Martin St-Louis told us that the goal was simply to rest Price and that there was no problem. However, at the end of the evening, after the game, he seemed to be more worried and he mentioned that Carey's health condition would be re-evaluated.

A slight change of speech that raises some questions.

At this point, we can only hope that it is minor and that he will be in uniform on Friday, to attack the off-season with confidence.

Just to prove how nebulous and worrisome the issue is, some are even wondering if it's time for Carey Price to retire (early)?
