Since joining the NHL in 2005-06, Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby has been an inspiration to young hockey players.

After 1,073 professional games, the Cole Harbour native has no less than 1,365 points. His brilliant career will certainly provide him with a gateway to the Hall of Fame when he hangs his skates.

But where do you rank Sidney Crosby on the list of the greatest hockey players of all time? In the top-10? The top-5? Former CH player Maxim Lapierre who was passing through the 98.5 Sports puts him at the top of his list in a specific category.

«Sidney Crosby is simply the hardest-working player in the history of the NHL,» he said.

He is always the first on the rink and the last to leave, Crosby is certainly a model of hard-working, he who has also come back from several concussions in his career.

Now 34 years old, the former member of the Rimouski Oceanic proves once again that age is irrelevant in his case, as he has 40 points in only 34 games this season.

Winner of three Stanley Cups, Crosby is the perfect example of an exemplary teammate who makes others around him much better.

So do you agree with what Maxim Lapierre said? It's hard to contradict him.
