Michael McNiven should have kept his mouth shut

On October 26, Michael McNiven criticized the Montreal Canadiens organization without a care in the world. The number 2 goaltender of the Laval Rocket emptied his heart, outright, by sending a message to his coach Jean-François Houle.

Here is the speech in question from McNiven:

"I was playing through an injury. I asked to be taken out of the game, the coaches left me out and I was given three goals. So before you say I had an atrocious game, it wasn't an atrocious game.

I don't know why they didn't replace me. I could barely move from post to post at that point. I don't think the coaches had any idea it was that bad, in fact I would hope so. The trainer told me to stay in the game if I felt up to it, but I said no. I had been asking to be taken out of there for ten minutes.

For me, whether it was from a reporter or just a fan, the way the first question was asked of me, that's probably what everyone will think. But I think they should have listened to me first. My next game was much better. That's all I'm going to say about that."

Know what? Maybe the 25-year-old should have kept his mouth shut or turned his tongue seven times before speaking out the way he did. The reason is simple, here are his stats since that heartfelt cry.

Whew, that's pretty heartbreaking, Michael!
