NHL trade alert: Avalanche make another big move

After acquiring Josh Manson yesterday Joe Sakic and the Colorado Avalanche made another move! This time, it's the Avalanche's former 10th overall pick in 2016, Tyson Jost, who is being traded.
Jost moves to the Minnesota Wild, in return for youngster Nico Sturm. One-for-one deal, with no salary holdback.
Jost, 24, has 14 points in 59 games this season, and 103 points in 321 career NHL games (45 goals).
Sturm, 26, has 17 points in 53 games this season and 36 points in 111 career NHL games (20 goals).
The key here is that the Avalanche are releasing 1.275 million under the salary cap. More details to follow...
