In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization made the following announcement regarding their young defenseman Kaiden Guhle, who left yesterday's game due to an injury.
"Kaiden Guhle is not participating in practice today (treatment day) and will not play tomorrow." - Montreal Canadiens
Renaud Lavoie then added a layer of information by posting this:
"Kaiden Guhle is not in practice and I wouldn't be surprised if his injury forces him to miss a few games. The real question is how many games he will have to sit out. No one has the answer right now." - Renaud Lavoie
Let's really hope it's not too serious, because it would truly be a big loss for Martin St-Louis and his men.
More details to follow.
One thing is for sure, it's a worrying news for Kent Hughes and the Habs today.
Guhle, 20, was drafted 16th overall in 2020 by the Canadiens. He has 14 points in 36 games this season in the NHL.
Official late-breaking update:
