Alex Galchenyuk just got a professional tryout with the Arizona Coyotes... It will be a return for "Chucky" in Arizona, he played 72 games with this team following the transaction involving Max Domi. He had 41 points, including 19 goals, which is far from being bad.
Prior to this PTO, he played (six seasons) with the Montreal Canadiens, the team that drafted him 3rd overall in the 2012 amateur draft, the Arizona Coyotes, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Minnesota Wild, the Ottawa Senators and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He has a total of 333 points in 583 NHL games.
We can therefore put the rumors of Galchenyuk and a possible return to the Montreal Canadiens to rest, as reported by David Ettedgui. Looking at the Coyotes' current roster, I can't believe that "Chucky" won't be part of it, as they "shaved" their roster again this summer.
