Earlier today, the Montreal Canadiens organization made an important announcement regarding their former defenseman PK Subban.
In response to this nice gesture from the Habs, Subban reacted via his social networks.
I can't wait! Thank you so much to the Montreal Canadiens and Geoff Molson for this night to celebrate so many great memories during my stay in la belle province! Montreal... Let's party! Thank you so much!" - P.K. Subban
It will indeed be a great night, and Subban deserves it.
Subban, 33, was drafted 43rd overall in the 2007 draft by the Montreal Canadiens. He has 467 points in 834 career games. (plus 62 points in 96 playoff games)
He really gave us some great moments at the Bell Centre and in our living rooms.
Subban was of course famously traded to the Nashville Preds in June 2016 for Shea Weber.
