The Habs loaned young defenseman Mattias Norlinder to the Laval Rocket, then recalled Corey Schueneman.
By going to Laval, Norlinder will be able to perfect his learning curve, as he could play more than 20 minutes per game.
Note that Norlinder was not sent to Laval for conditioning purposes as was the case the first time around. After December 1st, the rules for European prospects take a different form.
Norlinder has played six games with the CH since he arrived in North America, picking up one assist, and then has no points in three games with the Laval Rocket.
In Schueneman's case, if he plays a game with the Tricolore, it will be his first game in the National Hockey League. He deserves to be tested as he is the Rocket's best defensive player this year.
