Canadiens fans had a hard time accepting the trade of Tyler Toffoli, who was a fan favorite and who loved living in Montreal.

Now the name of another hugely popular player has surfaced in the trade rumors, even though he seems to love Montreal and even though he seems to be one of the biggest leaders in the Habs locker room right now: Josh Anderson.

In addition, he is absolutely dominant on the ice and complements the youngsters Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki perfectly.

Max Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse have had some good debates on this subject, as have many observers, but the real question is: what do Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton want to do? In the end, that's what matters.

TSN network insider Darren Dreger took the opportunity Wednesday morning to give new information regarding Andy. Dreger surprised many people, saying that the leaders of the Canadians (Hughes / Gorton) do not even know themselves yet if they want to keep him or trade him.

This information is quite similar to that reported by Elliotte Friedman of the Sportsnet network a few weeks ago. So that confirms that all options are on the table right now with Anderson, wow.

Personally, I would never trade him, unless a return is absolutely impossible to refuse. He's a unique player in the NHL and there's a reason teams REALLY want him.

So basically, Hughes and Gorton don't know yet if they want to trade Anderson (or not), but if they trade him, we can imagine the return will be very interesting.

And you, what would you do? I would keep him, like the Rangers did with Chris Kreider.
