We suspected it, but everything indicates that Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton could move again, soon.
This morning, Pierre LeBrun, of The Athletic, just mentioned very clearly that we must keep an eye on the Rangers and the Canadiens, starting today, and between now and the trade deadline. (on March 21)
According to LeBrun, Montreal is interested in several Rangers prospects and on the other hand, Montreal could fill important needs for New York, in exchange, like sending them a Ben Chiarot, for example.
Lebrun adds that Montreal prefers to receive a «A» prospect, before a first-round pick. They already have plenty of picks. We can easily imagine that Gorton likes several Rangers prospects, especially since he drafted almost all of them himself.
Which one would you see landing in Montreal in a possible trade?
