Journalist Réjean Tremblay was on 91.9 Sports earlier today and he made a horrible statement.
In our opinion, anyway,
He was talking about Carey Price's record and his recently won Bill Masterton Trophy.
As my colleague Keven Mawn (Fanadiens.com) aptly puts it, Rejean Tremblay had a solid escape.
He believes Price doesn't deserve this honor, given to a player who has shown perseverance.
See this statement that has set the web ablaze:
"Is every alcoholic in Montreal going to deserve a trophy?" - Réjean Tremblay
Yay! We are at a loss for words, honestly.
According to many, he went way too far this time and he should lose his privilege to give his opinion in the media.
It's okay to think that another player would have been more deserving of this honor, but to say that is wrong and disgusting for so many reasons.
91.9 Sports eventually deleted his post, which says a lot.
Keven Mawn did have proof, however:
Do you think he went too far this time?
