The IIHF has accidentally released the roster of the Canadian team that will participate in the Olympics next month.
As reported yesterday, Montreal Canadiens prospect Kaiden Guhle is not on it.
However, a few other former members of the Tricolore organization are there, including David Desharnais, Eric Staal, Daniel Carr, Jordan Weal, Adam Cracknell, Mark Barberio and Eddie Pasquale.
Not to mention the presence of Claude Julien, former head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, as well.
The first and third picks of the 2021 Entry Draft are also there, Owen Power and Mason McTavish. Quebec goalie Devon Levi was also selected by the Canadian team.
It will be a good mix of veterans and young players. They may not be the NHL players, but it will be interesting to watch this very enigmatic roster. Power, McTavish and Levi are likely to get a lot of attention during the tournament.
