Over the past few days and in the first round of the current NHL playoffs, forward Sidney Crosby has definitely proven that he is still one of the few best players in the world.
He was really dominant, both offensively and defensively. However, he also suffered another worrisome head injury that caused him to miss an important game.
So, during his team's post-season review, Crosby was asked about his future in the NHL.
Knowing his history of hits to the head, many fans were worried and skeptical, especially since number 87 never really wanted to commit himself on his future in the NHL.
But yesterday, he clearly did. He announced and confirmed that he will play another (at least) three full seasons! Great news and case settled:
He will re-evaluate everything afterwards. He will be 35 this summer.
