There were many reactions from Montreal Canadiens fans when Martin St-Louis unveiled his new lineup, and chose to put young Juraj Slafkovsky on the fourth line (and Evgenii Dadonov on the second). (and Evgenii Dadonov on the second line)
Slafkovsky about to get some good news?
Some may have noticed, but in the game against the Detroit Red Wings, young Slafkovsky was promoted to Sean Monahan's trio.
Martin St. Louis then showed his willingness to possibly make the switch, and place Slafkovsky on Monahan's trio. Many fans and experts love the idea!
"Some good scoring chances for the CH with Sean Monahan and Juraj Slafkovsky together on the ice!" - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin
How would you like to see Slafkovsky replace Jonathan Drouin or Evgenii Dadonov, permanently, on Sean Monahan's trio?
The news could come soon for the young Slovak, who has shown great things in Detroit, but unfortunately, before thinking about that, Slafkovsky will have to avoid suspension.
Remember that he was ejected from the game and he risks having a meeting with the NHL's Department of Player Safety:
