At a press conference earlier today, after the team's morning practice, rookie Juraj Slafkovsky was asked about the Canadiens' famous rookie dinner, which was held Friday in Chicago.
Check out a report:
Juraj Slafkovsky on Friday's rookie dinner in Chicago: "It was delicious and expensive, that's all I can tell you!"
- Reported by the excellent Andrée-Anne Barbeau
And Priyanta Emrith posted this:
"Juraj Slafkovsky, on the rookie dinner in Chicago: 'It was good and very expensive - I can't say anything else about it *laughs*. It's nice that we have 5 rookies on the team, so it may not have been that much, but still. It's good, it's fun, and it's part of the integration into the League. It's good, I like it."
Watching his reaction, it's pretty easy to see that the kids had a lot of fun, but what happened in Chicago, is going to stay in Chicago (and that's just fine)
