With just hours to go before the Montreal Canadiens' second regular season game, head coach Martin St-Louis has just revealed his trios and duos to face the Red Wings in Detroit:
Caufield-Suzuki-Anderson
Slafkovsky-Dvorak-Gallagher
Hoffman-Monahan-Dach
Pitlick-Evans-Dadonov
Defenders
Guhle-Savard
Xhekaj-Wideman
Harris-Kovacevic
Allen
Jake Allen will indeed be in front of the net for his team, while Jonathan Drouin will be left out again. It's confirmed.
Also note that Sean Monahan is now "officially" at center for Kirby Dach, and not the other way around.
