As you know, the National Hockey League's famous 2023 Winter Classic was finally held today, as the Pittsburgh Penguins took on the Boston Bruins at the mythical Fenway Park.
The Bruins won by a score of 2-1.
On the sidelines of this event, the National Hockey League made a surprising announcement.
The Winter Classic 2024 will take place, not between two original teams as usual, but instead the duel will feature two new expansion teams. Wow!
Today, the NHL announced this:
"The 2024 NHL Winter Classic is moving to the West Coast, and will feature the two new NHL franchises, the Seattle Kraken and Vegas Golden Knights, on New Year's Day at T-Mobile Park, home of the Mariners." - NHL
