TRADE ALERT within the Canadiens organization: Hughes trades a defenseman to Chicago

Kent Hughes made some moves in his organization today, as the Laval Rocket announced that they had traded veteran right-handed defenseman Luke Green to the Chicago Wolves in return for future considerations.
With the large defensive surplus in Laval, and indeed in the entire Habs organization, it was inevitable that a trade would occur to free up some space.
Green, 24 years old, played only five games with the Rocket this year, collecting one assist.
Now, it might be time for Hughes to do the same with the big club, as the defenseman rotation seems to be becoming harmful to the performance and confidence of the organization's young defensemen.
A personnel move, either through a move to Laval or a trade would be in order very soon.
