A horror scene occurred Monday night during the Monday Night Football matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals. Indeed, the player of the Bills, Damar Hamlin received a blow to the head, he got up a few seconds, then completely collapsed on the ground.
Unknowingly, the next night, Tage Thompson of the Buffalo Sabres paid a unique and insane tribute to the Bills' number 3.
In that game, which took place on 3 January, Thompson scored 3 goals against the Washington Capitals to collect his 3rd hat trick of the season. That 3rd goal came in overtime, when the two teams were playing 3 to 3, in the 3rd minute of overtime play. Need we add that this was the 30th goal of the season for the Sabres forward?
Quite a coincidence for one who arrived at the Capitals' arena donning a jersey in honor of Damar Hamlin on which his number 3 was quite visible.
All our thoughts are with the Bills player and his family!
