Another head coach lost his job, a little over 12 hours after Travis Green, and this one is the great Alain Vigneault.
The Flyers have a crappy 8-10-4 record since the opening of the 2021-22 schedule, when this team has a lot more depth than their current record.
The Philadelphia Flyers have had all kinds of problems since the start of this season, including some major defensive lapses, which certainly hasn't helped Vigneault's cause.
For tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche, Mike Yeo will take over on an interim basis. Then, for the one who could take the official place of Vigneault, we must remember the name of Rick Tocchet.
In the case of Michel Therrien, he was also released, he is a great friend of Alain Vigneault. By the way, I remind you that Vigneault had initialed a deal of five years for five million annually on April 19, 2019.
In short, the Facebook title is a bit of a joke since I absolutely do not believe that Vigneault will join Jeff Gorton with the Montreal Canadiens. Just like that, the two men worked together with the New York Rangers.
