Reluctant to take the vaccine, Detroit Red Wings left winger Tyler Bertuzzi has just been subjected to the NHL's COVID-19 procotole. His team made the announcement via their Twitter account on Wednesday night.
Bertuzzi, who has had a strong start to the season with 18 points, including nine goals, in 20 games, has yet to play a game in Canada this season as he is not allowed to cross the border without first being vaccinated.
There is no doubt that this news will give the Red Wings organization pause, as they will be without one of their best players for a few games. Will the team have to convince Bertuzzi to be vaccinated when he returns? To be continued...
