Riley Kidney and Joshua Roy were selected 63rd and 150th respectively in the 2021 auction by the Montreal Canadiens. We're talking about two QMJHL products, so two products in the Sainte-Flanelle's backyard.
That being said, these two prospects have been on fire since the opening of the Courteau Circuit campaign. Kidney has 29 points, including 13 goals, in 19 games so far. In Roy's case, he has 31 points, including 12 goals, in 17 games.
Add to that an incredible statistic for both players, a monstrous "three-star" rating. Kidney received the first star six times, while Roy received one of the three stars on eight occasions. Then, just like that, Roy (2nd) and Kidney (6th) are among the top-10 scorers in the league.
With all this data, we all agree that these two should at least receive an invitation to the next Canadian U20 summer camp?
