While we had real hope for yesterday against the Jets, many believed that Carey Price's long-awaited return to the game would be tomorrow night.
Finally, the verdict is in: Carey Price will not return to the game tomorrow in Columbus. Could Price come back for Easter? That seems to be the new scenario.
As the excellent John Lu (TSN) reports, Carey continues to make progress toward a return to action, and he will travel with his team to Columbus this afternoon, but he will not play tomorrow.
This will be his second trip with his teammates this year.
According to the information we have, he will not be in uniform at all. (neither as a starter, nor as an auxiliary)
Next appointment: this Friday, at the Bell Center, against the New York Islanders.
