As you know, the Chicago Blackhawks have been making incredible and very unsubtle efforts in recent weeks to destroy their team.

They're getting rid of all their decent players and have almost no skaters under contract, which clearly doesn't make Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews happy.

Regarding star forward Kane, the verdict is in and it's big:

"There is no chance Patrick Kane will stay with the Blackhawks."

- Statement from the highly regarded Craig Button (TSN)

And the Chicago Blackhawks reporter adds a layer:

"There is a 0% chance that Patrick Kane will still be with the Blackhawks, after the deadline." - Mark Lazerus

And finally, according to a Chicago tipster, Patrick Kane will officially file a trade request as early as tomorrow. His preferred destination would be the New York Rangers.

So if these three sources are to be believed, he would have actually played his last game with the Blackhawks.

Kane, 33, was phenomenal again last year, putting up 92 points in 78 games (he has averaged 100 points/82 games over the past three years).
