Montreal still hasn't made a move since the Tyler Toffoli trade and there are only six days left before the trade deadline. Rumors are piling up and several players are being linked to the Canadiens.
The most recent are Owen Tippett and Brock Boeser. The Fourth Period has once again published its rankings of the players most likely to be traded.
And the two names mentioned above are among the potential targets for Kent Hughes.
One thing is for certain, despite Tippett not having the success he had hoped for in Florida, he will cost a lot of money for a team to acquire him.
For his part, the name of Brock Boeser has startled many. The problem in his case is his next contract. Could the Tricolore get him at a good price? That remains to be seen.
If there is one thing that is certain, it is that this saga of the trade deadline in Montreal is far from over.
