As we finally get into September, the National Hockey League will start to see some action again, and in the last few seconds, the St. Louis Blues organization seems to have kicked off the professional tryout.
The Blues have just announced the signing of forward Tyler Pitlick (professional tryout):
Pitlick, 30, is a former 31st overall pick of the Edmonton Oilers (in 2010) and was acquired by the Montreal Canadiens on February 14, 2022 in the Tyler Toffoli trade.
He had 3 points in 14 games with the Habs, and it wasn't enough to get a new contract in Montreal.
With this announcement from the Blues, it's officially over for him with the Canadiens.
More details will follow!
