Since his return to the game on January 18, everything is going very well for Tyler Toffoli, which contrasts dramatically with his team's results.
With eight points in the last seven games, Toffoli now has a total of 25 points, including nine goals, in 33 games this season. So it's up, as Stéphane Gonzalez pointed out on TVA Sports' JiC show.
Even though he is an important part of the training, could the Canadiens therefore resign themselves to letting Toffoli go in order to obtain the best possible return by the trade deadline?
One thing is certain, several teams would be interested in acquiring a four-time 20-goal scorer, completing the second year of a four-year contract, with an annual value of only $4.25 million.
It's certainly a heart-wrenching choice, but would you be willing to let number 73 go, should an attractive offer come to the table?
