On November 4, the Vegas Golden Knights acquired Jack Eichel with a conditional third-round pick in 2023 in exchange for Peyton Krebs, Alex Tuch, a first-round pick in 2022 and a second-round pick in 2023.
Eichel has yet to play a game with his new team, having undergone surgery to replace a vertebra in his neck just eight days after the trade. His recovery time was estimated at three months.
According to NHL.com, Jack Eichel is expected to return to action before the All-Star break in early February.
The American center has been skating again for a while, but he could also be practicing with his new teammates very soon.
The Golden Knights sit atop the Pacific Division with 20 wins in 32 games. There's no doubt they'll be even more formidable, thanks to the addition of the second overall pick in the 2015 draft.
They are bound to be one of the favorite teams in the playoffs.
