With the National Hockey League training camps approaching, the man who is currently still head coach and general manager of the Quebec Remparts (in the QMJHL), Patrick Roy, offered a very interesting interview to Kevin Dubé of the Journal de Québec.

Notably, Roy rightly discussed his players who will soon be attending NHL camps. We're talking about:

Bolduc (St. Louis), Nause (Florida), Gaucher (Anaheim), in addition to Theo Rochette and Mikaël Huchette (Philadelphia), James Malatesta (Columbus) and Vsevolod Komarov (Buffalo).

The first three already have a contract in their pocket, while the others will try to earn one. Either way, Roy makes an interesting prediction:

"I think we're going to have one or two guys starting in the NHL this year," Roy mentioned, before being asked if he was talking about Bolduc among others. I don't know, but as a result of my discussions, the Blues are going to give him a real chance.

"I also think Nause is going to get a real chance in Florida and Gaucher in Anaheim. They all have contracts and for sure teams are going to look at them right."

Really interesting! It would be big, but Roy seems to believe it! One thing is for sure, he doesn't have a tongue in cheek and it will be fun to watch, as camps and season starts approach.

For the QMJHL head coach that he is, this is a situation that could hurt his team, but he doesn't stop there:

"It's a credit to our program," Roy threw in. That's why they're here."
