Viral video: Wright got excited too soon and was convinced the Coyotes would pick him at 3rd

Here we see that young Shane Wright really went through several emotions, as he was ignored by the first three teams to advance to the podium. (when he was the favorite to be drafted first)
In this clip (between the second and third picks overall), we see a Shane Wright completely convinced that he would be drafted by the Arizona Coyotes at third, after having been ignored by the CH and the Devils.
Finally, he hears the Coyotes GM call out Logan Cooley's name, and his reaction says it all:
A tough night for the kid, and you can very clearly see his disappointment in the above clip, but then it all gives way to the joy of finally being selected (4th) by the Seattle Kraken.
As he often says in the documentary, Shane Wright has an extra motivation and he is satisfied because in the end it's not "when" but "where".
It will be interesting to watch him evolve.
