WOW: Rafaël Harvey-Pinard would leave money on the table to stay with the Montreal Canadiens
We hadn't had the chance to talk about it yet, but it's definitely worth mentioning.
Sunday night, live on the show Tout le monde en parle, the Quebecer forward for the Montreal Canadiens, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, made a significant statement.
A statement that, we hope, will inspire many!
He openly admitted that he is ready to earn less money to stay in Montreal. He's made his choice for the rest of his career.
We love it!
"It obviously depends on the amount of money... but as for me, I'm ready to accept less money to stay with the Canadiens." - Rafaël Harvey-Pinard
A true one!
After scoring 14 goals and 6 assists, for 20 points in 34 games last season, let's remember that "RHP" signed a two-year contract extension this summer which will bring him 1.1 million per season.
Watch the segment in question.
