This is one of the issues we'll be watching closely this week with the CH: what will happen with Jonathan Drouin? Will we learn that his season is over?

Let's remember that Jonathan unfortunately injured his wrist (again) seriously and he might have to undergo a major surgery.

We now have more details, and from the nasty comments that have been coming in, this is definitely a needed update.

What is currently keeping Drouin from playing is a wrist injury, nothing else.

Max Truman of Danslescoulisses.com summed it up well: It's a wrist injury. No, he's not going through another episode of uncontrollable anxiety. The rumors need to stop.

On the contrary, the Quebec forward really wants to play. The team doctors (of the CH) have warmly recommended him to have surgery right away, but he does not want to, not before exploring all options.

Drouin would like to be able to be tapped, and treated "temporarily" on a daily basis, so he can finish the season and play the last few games.

He is currently at home, due to close contact with someone positive for the virus, and that complicates the process.

But the important thing to remember here is that Drouin is not backing down, quite the contrary. He is trying very hard to get back into the game quickly and finish the season.
