Artturi Lehkonen has finally broken through offensively! Yes, you read that right! The Finnish forward was simply not able to buy points in his first 13 games. He only had one assist during that stretch.
However, everything seems to have unblocked for him against the Kings on November 9, and he is currently on a good streak.
He has eight points in his last eight games with two goals and six assists.
He also scored this great goal, with the help of a great pass from Brendan Gallagher.
Lehkonen has always been known to be a hard worker, which is why he is greatly appreciated by his coaches and teammates. His hard work has paid off.
His line completed by Jake Evans and Brendan Gallagher was the best of the Tricolore tonight. It would be very surprising if Dominique Ducharme changes this combination for the next game, even if his team got rinsed on Wednesday night in Washington.
