It's done, Martin St. Louis is the new head coach of the Montreal Canadiens.
However, if you look closely at his title, you can see an asterisk that says "interim". Why did he get this little mention?
According to Elliotte Friedman and Marc-Antoine Godin, St. Louis would have signed until the end of the current campaign in order to see if the position would interest him in the long term. In addition, the organization will be able to address the situation at the end of the season, thanks to its evaluations.
The question of the particular title seems to have been answered clearly by these insiders. However, we will know a lot more on Thursday when Martin St. Louis is "introduced" to the Montreal media for the first time as the Habs pilot.
