As you know, Kent Hughes recently shuffled his cards, which has impacts at all levels of the organization.
Cayden Primeau was notably placed on NHL waivers and went unclaimed, so he will continue his season with the Laval Rocket.
This personnel movement has implications for young Luke Cavallin.
The latter, who had some very strong moments with the Laval Rocket in goal, has just been reassigned to the Trois-Rivières Lions, where he will resume his role as the number-one goaltender.
So, after all these changes, we officially have Samuel Montembeault and Jakub Dobes with the Montreal Canadiens, Cayden Primeau and Connor Hughes with the Laval Rocket, and Luke Cavallin, Zachary Emond, and Hunter Jones with the Trois-Rivières Lions.
It's an excellent goaltender organizational chart.
Luke Cavallin, 23 years old, is a 6-foot-1, 196-pound netminder.
The former Toronto Maple Leafs prospect has a record of 4-2-0 this season with the Lions, a goals-against average of 1.51, and a save percentage of .952.
He has been ridiculously good in the ECHL this season.
With the Laval Rocket, Cavallin posted a 2.46 goals-against average and a save percentage of .897. (Record of 1-1-0)
He's a name to watch within the organization.
