We have an official statement from the Montreal Canadiens to share with you. We mentioned this earlier today, but the organization has just confirmed that there will be no morning skate today in anticipation of the matchup against the New York Rangers.

However, head coach Martin St-Louis will hold a press conference before the game to confirm the changes made to his lineup.

Two changes are expected to be announced.

First, in goal, as reported earlier today, expect to see Jakub Dobes get the start against the New York Rangers.

Secondly, analysts still expect a change in attack involving Michael Pezzetta, who didn't even play 3 minutes (total) last night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Canadiens summon the media for a press conference with Martin St-Louis

We will have our answers around 4:30 PM today.

«The Canadiens will not skate in preparation for Sunday's game.

Follow the team on YouTube, Facebook, and X to listen to the media availability scheduled around 4:30 PM EST, then keep an eye on the Canadiens' X account for potential lineup changes.

For the full lineup, check the team's social media just before the opening faceoff.»

Rest assured, we will keep you updated on any developments.

Don't be surprised if the Canadiens finally call up a player from the Laval Rocket before tonight's game, in order to actually play with 12 forwards.

With Michael Pezzetta in the lineup, it's literally as if the team is playing with 11 forwards, as he doesn't even play three minutes in the game.

Martin St-Louis clearly doesn't trust his number 55.

Details will follow!
