Canadiens Keep David Reinbacher Involved With the Team During Recovery, as Michkov Shines for Flyers
Practically at the same time as Patrik Laine, young defenseman David Reinbacher also suffered a serious injury.
Unlike his Finnish teammate, however, unfortunately, we don't expect to see him back in uniform anytime soon.
While Reinbacher is sidelined and unable to do anything to silence his critics, Matvei Michkov is making waves with the Philadelphia Flyers.
It must be so frustrating for the young Canadiens defenseman.
Michkov has accumulated 27 points in 27 games this season, including eleven goals.
In short, despite the challenges and setbacks, the Canadiens organization is doing everything in its power to help Reinbacher and allow him to progress nonetheless.

These are small gestures, but they definitely make a big difference in the mind of the young defenseman selected 5th overall in 2023.
Reinbacher, only 20 years old, is a 6 foot 3, 207-pound right-handed defensemen.
He collected 5 points in 11 games last season with the Laval Rocket and had an interesting training camp with the big club.
