Don't count on us to encourage you to post mean or negative comments toward Cédric Paré.
He is probably the person in the world who would most like to erase that sequence right now.
He, too, will need the support of his loved ones in the coming days because some people are going way too far in their comments.
It's really an unfortunate situation, and it's extremely sad in every way.
Incase you missed it, here's the video:
Do fans have the right to comment? Absolutely.
Do fans have the right to say it was a dangerous play? Absolutely.
Do fans have the right to call for a suspension? Absolutely.
However, attacking a player's family, or worse, remains unacceptable in our opinion.
Cédric Paré, 25 years old, is from Lévis (Quebec) and is a 6-foot-4, 212-pound forward. He was the 173rd overall pick by the Boston Bruins in 2017.
That said, we sincerely hope that Canadiens forward Patrik Laine can return to play as soon as possible.
