Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield gave us another entertaining moment during his post-game press conference.
Questioned by a journalist about his strong start to the season, specifically whether he feels «more comfortable» shooting the puck this season compared to last year, Caufield had a priceless reaction.
A Unique Moment During Cole Caufield's Press Conference
Reporter: «Do you feel more comfortable shooting the puck compared to last year? Because it seems like those shots from small angles are getting in more than last year.»
Cole Caufield: «No.»
And here are the video clips of the scene in question:
In fact, Caufield responded with this.
«No. No, no That's a crazy question.» - Cole Caufield, who seemed quite amused by the question.
Let's not forget that Caufield scored his 5th and 6th goals of the season last night against the New York Islanders, placing him second among the top scorers in the NHL.
Here's an interesting statistic as well.
«It took Caufield 21 games to score six goals last season. He has scored six in 18 periods this season.» - Eric Engels
Caufield has also become one of the top «U23» goal scorers in Montreal Canadiens history, which is no small feat.
We can certainly say that the 5-foot-8-inch, 175-pound forward has started the 2024-2025 season very well, especially since he has managed to score important goals at key moments.
