Dramatic turn of events for the Canadiens' forward Kirby Dach, and we have the details
Wow, it's the news of the day at the Montreal Canadiens!
A few weeks after Alex Newhook, now it was forward Kirby Dach's turn to return to the ice earlier than expected.
See the images captured in the last few seconds.
Dach, 23 years old, suffered a serious injury during the second game of the season, having accumulated two points in two games.
"Kirby Dach skated alone this morning in a nice sports outfit. A short session but significant nonetheless." - Alexandre Gascon
Details will follow, but it is certainly great news for fans and for the Montreal Canadiens organization to already see him back on the ice.
He is such an important young player for what Kent Hughes is building.
As we saw yesterday, we may have found our first line in Juraj Slafkovsky/Nick Suzuki/Cole Caufield, so if Kirby Dach can also become a dominant player, it will be big for what's to come.
In any case, his return to skating is a step in the right direction.
