At a press conference yesterday, young Rafaël Harvey-Pinard confirmed what we already knew, but it was good to hear it clearly. It was for Martin St-Louis.

This victory was for head coach Martin St-Louis:

We definitely wanted to win it for him, it was an important return for us, he is a leader, and it's a victory for him." - Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, echoing what his teammates who spoke to the media said.

Clearly, it's no coincidence that the Canadiens delivered one of their finest performances of the season last night in Colorado, just as Martin St-Louis had just rejoined the club.

The captain was also emotional after the game:

It's great that he's back, we missed him. We tried to do the job during his absence, and he gave us energy. We played for him, he's been through a lot in the past ten days," added Nick Suzuki

Evidently, it was a special duel for everyone yesterday in Denver.
