Ivan Demidov responds to Matvei Michkov after he revealed his desire to play with him in the NHL
The young Philadelphia Flyers forward, Matvei Michkov, made a big statement about the Montreal Canadiens prospect, Ivan Demidov.
Michkov recently had some very kind words for Demidov, expressing his disappointment that they are not together with the Philadelphia Flyers.

These two young prodigies clearly have a great relationship, having been former teammates.
This time, it's Ivan Demidov who has responded to Michkov's comments with some very kind words of his own.
In an interview with RG, here's what the fifth overall pick of the Montreal Canadiens in 2024 had to say about Michkov:

Wow! Demidov added that he's been in contact with Michkov recently, calling him a very talented, versatile player with enormous potential.
Demidov even mentioned that Michkov could play at center, if needed, for the Philadelphia Flyers and head coach John Tortorella.
It's truly heartwarming to see these two young players publicly supporting each other, and it's great to see that they'll be there for one another during their big transition to North America.
They might not be able to play together in the NHL unless something dramatic happens, but they will still maintain their strong relationship and stay in touch.
