Kirby Dach Responds to Boos from Canadiens Fans with a Strong Statement in Press Conference
One of the names generating the most buzz right now with the Montreal Canadiens is forward Kirby Dach.
Unfortunately, he's not making headlines for the right reasons at the moment.
There's notably the following sequence, which is rather embarrassing for Dach and directly led to a goal by the Vegas Golden Knights.
This marked the beginning of the collapse for Martin St. Louis' squad and the start of the boos at the Bell Centre. Marty even addressed the fans who booed the team's poor performance.
Kirby Dach breaks the silence after Saturday night's game
In a press conference, Dach made a strong gesture by standing tall in front of the journalists, not shying away, and taking the blame.
A true professional «move,» and it's really reassuring to see this. It shows that he truly wants to improve and elevate his game to the next level.
Kirby Dach makes a clear statement following his poor performance:
Do you think yesterday's game was a good «wake-up call» for Kirby Dach, or do you believe, like many others, that a bigger punishment (Healthy Scratch) is necessary?
Personally, I wasn't against the idea of benching him for a game, but after hearing what Dach had to say yesterday, I'd hold off on sending him to the stands for now.
He truly seems determined to turn things around.
He'll just need to double down on his efforts.
