In short, this is not the first time Caufield has given a «snappy» or «arrogant» response to a journalist during a press conference.
Present on BPM Sports this morning for his usual segment, the excellent RDS journalist Luc Gélinas confirmed that Caufield has been very defensive for a while when speaking with them.

That being said, Caufield is still an extremely kind and generous young man with his time. He just needs to learn how to better handle interactions with journalists in the locker room.
