Newly Acquired Alexandre Carrier Makes First Big Promise to Canadiens Fans
What's amazing about Carrier is that he had already openly mentioned his intention to sign with the Montreal Canadiens.
His dream has always been to play for the Montreal Canadiens.
Kevin Raphaël even just released an exclusive video proving it.
In this clip, Carrier shares some very important thoughts.
Alexandre Carrier has the ideal attitude to play in Montreal
Here's a transcript of his comments:
«Personally, I'd love to play in Montreal.
I think when you're a Quebecois player, like Phillip Danault, for example, who had a great journey in Montreal, he's a guy who works hard, dedicates himself to the team.. I think that helps.
And when you're not a big salary in Montreal, I think you get a little more slack too.»
- Alexandre Carrier in an interview with Kevin Raphael in 2023 In another clip, he mentions that he will do everything in his power to give Montreal Canadiens fans the performances they deserve.
He guarantees that the level of effort and commitment will always be at 100%.
I love it!
Here's a player who totally understands how a passionate hockey market like Montreal works.
Essentially, when asked if it's stressful for a Quebecois player to come play in Montreal, he responds that it's not.. Because a guy who works hard and dedicates himself to the team will always be appreciated by the fans.
Bingo!
In essence, he seems to say that if he works hard and always gives 100%, like Phillip Danault did, then there won't be any problems.
What a fantastic attitude! This is promising.
