Nick Suzuki Made an Unnoticed Play Right Before Cole Caufield's 100th Career Goal
The Montreal Canadiens forwards, Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki, have absolutely incredible chemistry on the ice. They are clearly at their best when playing together, and even when Martin St-Louis separates them, it's not long before he puts them back together.
When watching the games, their chemistry is instantly noticeable, but we don't often take the time to admire the subtle little plays that are truly impressive.
I'll take the time to do that here.
On the goal scored by Cole Caufield, as pointed out by the guys from HabsOnReddit, Nick Suzuki made a pass without even looking to confirm that number 13 was actually there.
Personally, it's the kind of play and subtle little move that really impresses me.
A sequence that says a lot about the chemistry between Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki
Check out the footage right here:
«Nick Suzuki knew exactly where Cole Caufield was without even lifting his head.»
I love seeing that!
Additionally, let's point out that this goal was Cole Caufield's 19th of the season, the goal that sparked the Canadiens' spectacular comeback, and also the 100th career goal for number 13.
At 23 years old, Caufield now has 100 goals (183 points) in just 242 career games in the National Hockey League, which is truly impressive.
In 37 games this season, he already has 19 goals and is significantly contributing to his team's success.
