Patrik Laine's Absence Yesterday: Canadiens Make Two New Announcements Ahead Of Tonight's Game
We have news from the Montreal Canadiens, live from the Bell Centre, involving Patrik Laine and Mike Matheson.
The two, who were absent from practice yesterday (which raised some concern), are both back on the ice today.
Good news!
Martin St-Louis is expected to confirm his lineup during a press conference in the next few minutes, but it is absolutely anticipated that Laine and Matheson will be in tonight's game.

Let us recall that the Montreal Canadiens face the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at the Bell Centre, with the game scheduled for 7:00 PM.
The Canadiens had announced that Matheson and Laine would be on the ice this morning, and now it's confirmed:

-Anthony Martineau
Patrik Laine, 26 years old, has 4 points in 4 games this season, including three goals.
Mike Matheson, 30 years old, has 15 points in 26 games this season, including two goals.
These are two obviously very important players for Martin St-Louis right now.
In Laine's case, it's worth noting that he has just recovered from a serious knee injury, so it's no surprise to see some workload management in his case.
