Sad news involving St-Louis and his son: New information has come to light and Nick Suzuki comments
Absolutely everyone in Quebec is behind Martin St-Louis, who is currently away from the team for personal reasons related to his son.
That's what David Savard revealed yesterday in an interview on TVA Sports.
Incase you didn't know, St. Louis and his wife, Heather, have three sons: Ryan, 20, Lucas, 18, and Mason, 16.
A few hours after the announcement, last night, several players commented on the sad news, including captain Nick Suzuki.
»It's obviously different with Marty not being here. We have a good group in here, lot of good coaches. It was business as usual. But obviously we're missing him and wishing for the best.»
As for yesterday's game, the captain had this to say:
"There were moments when we were playing very well and others when it was lacking. You can't expect to win when you have so many ups and downs in a game. They had too many scoring chances. The game could have been different."
Well said! It's certain that this casts a huge dark cloud over the team's trip to the West, but as Quebecois defenseman David Savard mentioned so well, the players will play for Martin and his son.
We are thinking of them and hoping so much for positive news soon in this matter.
