The Seattle Kraken's roster will be selected in full tonight, but of course, leaks have already started to leak out. In short, Ron Francis selected Adam Larsson from the Edmonton Oilers and Jamie Oleksiak from the Dallas Stars. Oleksiak will become an unrestricted free agent in a few days, while Larsson has already signed a deal with the Kraken.

The 28-year-old veteran defenseman signed a four-year, $16 million pact averaging $4 million per campaign. So, at the time of writing this, Larsson is the Kraken's number one defenseman... and Oleksiak should be the second.

Larsson was the 4th player selected in the 2011 draft by the New Jersey Devils, and was then moved to the Oilers in June 2016 in return for Taylor Hall. He may not have become the mainstay they wanted him to be, but he's still doing a great job defensively.

In short, Oleksiak is the Dallas Stars player who was selected by the Seattle Kraken, which means that Ben Bishop will remain in Texas... so the number one goaltender spot is still empty in Seattle for now. A position that seems to be coming up for Carey Price, but it's not a done deal yet!
