The Montreal Canadiens announce a press conference for Kent Hughes following the Patrik Laine trade
We're extremely eager to hear what he has to say.
«General Manager Kent Hughes will address the media at 5:00 PM ET today [via Zoom] to discuss the Patrik Laine trade.»
- Priyanta Emrith
He's likely to discuss his plans for Laine, and we'll also definitely get more details on what happened behind the scenes between the Canadiens and the Blue Jackets.
Will the word «playoffs» come up again during the press conference?
Let's not forget that in the past few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens announced the acquisition of Patrik Laine in a trade involving three pieces, including Jordan Harris.
Laine could become a very interesting complement to the Montreal Canadiens' top six, alongside Kirby Dach and Alex Newhook on the second line (and possibly a future linemate for a certain Ivan Demidov).
